Naola — Cross-Platform Weather App
Naola is a weather app built on React Native and Expo that ships to iOS, Android and web from a single codebase, backed by an API running on Cloudflare Workers.
Most weather apps read from one provider. Naola queries several in parallel, normalises every response behind a single interface, and computes a weighted consensus with outlier removal — so you see both the agreed forecast and how much the sources actually disagree.
The engineering work sits mostly under the surface: 50 languages, Android home-screen widgets in four sizes, GDPR-compliant per-IP rate limiting with hashed addresses, subscription billing, and a release pipeline that builds iOS in the cloud while Android and web build on CI runners.
Currently in testing ahead of store release.
