Saturday Drive — Product Engineering & Platform Architecture

I joined Saturday Drive as a core engineer on Ninja Forms, a WordPress form builder with millions of active installations, and its catalogue of commercial add-ons.

Alongside feature work across PHP, JavaScript and REST APIs, I owned the delivery infrastructure for the whole product line — automated test suites and an automated release pipeline covering the core plugin and every add-on, including publication to the WordPress.org repository. Shipping stopped being an event and became routine.

Since 2025 my focus has moved to architecture on a greenfield edge-first platform: a standalone distributed system rather than a plugin. TypeScript end to end on Cloudflare Workers, serverless Postgres with a typed ORM, a modular monorepo, schema-first contracts as the single source of truth, and a CI pipeline that runs every suite across multiple runtimes before anything merges.

It’s a small team, so the two threads overlap — I still know the plugin ecosystem well and step back into it when it needs me.
